St Peter’s Church and church hall host a number of events throughout the year. Here is the 2019 events programme.

  • 1.45pm Saturday 29th June in St Peter’s Church – The Rose Queen’s investiture.
  • 2pm in St Peter’s Church Hall the Summer Fayre will be opened by the Rose Queen.
  • Stalls will include homemade crafts/cakes, games, bric-a-brac, refreshments and a raffle
  • Admission FREE
  • 7.30pm Friday 12th July in St Peter’s Church. Refreshments provided
  • Adults £4.00. Accompanied Children FREE

St Peter’s Art With Heart Exhibition

This will be opened on the night of the Summer Concert and will be exhibited until 7th September. It is an exhibition of beautiful Arts & Crafts created by incredible local artists, groups and friends of St Peter’s Church. Much of the artwork can be purchased, with a percentage of proceeds going towards the maintenance and upkeep of St Peter’s Church.

  • Audio visual & heritage displays, including excerpts from the ‘Mining Memories’ exhibition, plus MUCH MUCH MORE
  • Admission FREE

Food Available from 11am in the hall.

2pm WW2 Afternoon Tea Dance with live entertainment.
